These are locally popular spoons that you may hear mentioned on the radio
that are stock spoons that have been altered with various tapes. Since
most of us doctor our spoons to one degree or another, having a visual image of
what the modified spoon looks like is usually more helpful than a verbal
description.
These will be added to as we get more pictures, so check back often. If
you hear about a particular pattern and don't see it here, click
here to send us
an e-mail and we'll try and get a picture of it on here as soon as possible.

Polecat
This spoon was real hot last year (2003) and should be good again. It is done up on a silver front/copper back NK 28 with a custom green and orange scallop crushed ised over chartreuse prizm tape. This tape is available from Ernie Lanteigne at Fish Doctor Charters and may also be available in local shops. This particular spoon was taped up on a hammered silver NK28 dimple lite with gold back ( I can't find the silver/copper). |
